Interior decoration is a natural extension of architecture. The way in which a room is put together, and the choice of furniture, colours, wallpaper and lamps, is as important to success as the design of the architecture itself.

Ben’s favourite rooms are quiet, calm spaces. His ingredients are good plain furniture, appropriate to the room and to the building; the best pictures one can afford; and an understanding of architecture and symmetry counterbalanced by consideration of comfort and interest.

We decorate a small number of rooms each year.  Although interior decoration does not drive the practice, we love to work with sympathetic owners and with fine rooms, large or small.
