Blue Seastar

 The Blue Seastar (Linckia laevigata)

Part of the Ophidiasteridae Seastar family. It is common throughout the waters of the Indo-Pacific and around the northern part of Australia. The Blue Seastar feeds on algae and can grow up to 40cm across! 

Abundant in the ocean and ethically sourced a novel way of adding to your dried starfish collection

 Sizes vary slightly but measure between 15-20cm across
