From a watercolour on paper 1934, printed to the original size. Furlong was the Sussex artist Peggy Angus's home. Ravilious very much liked the expansiveness of the land and sky from Mount Caburn just outside of Lewes, to Firle Beacon further to the east. Many of his landscape paintings were painted and inspired by this stretch of land.
