Part II Architectural Assistant
We have a new opening for an experienced Part II Architectural Assistant to join our busy and friendly architectural studio in Bloomsbury.
Working with the private house team, the ideal candidate will have excellent technical and presentation skills along with a conscientious and sensitive approach to design.
A warm personality, enjoyment of working in small groups, excellent organisation and communication skills and a proactive approach to all areas of work will be key for this position.
The person we are looking for will have a good working knowledge of Vectorworks and all Microsoft programs. A clear understanding of SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and other similar programs are advantageous. Hand drawing skills are also very welcome.
The role calls for a person with authenticity, creativity and top-notch attention to detail.
The practice is currently working on a variety of new build and restoration private residential projects – experience in these sectors will be beneficial.

Part Time IT Support
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable part-time IT Support person.
Working closely alongside the IT Manager, they will provide consistent and thorough technology guidance and assistance to the whole office. The vacancy calls for someone competent with a genuine interest in IT and a natural problem-solving ability. Previous customer facing experience is desirable.
Our ideal candidate will be resourceful, positive and well-informed, with a hands-on approach. They will have proven experience of successfully resolving issues and implementing systems. They will be practical, kind, hardworking and will have excellent organisational skills.
Main responsibilities include:
– Providing face-to-face and remote support to staff, diagnosing, and troubleshooting issues on MacOS devices effectively and efficiently
– Supporting hardware maintenance and updates
– Keeping accurate records of hardware and software
– Troubleshooting basic issues with network, printers and other technology
– Recording and logging requests on ticketing system
– Administering and troubleshooting Office 365 applications, including Exchange and Teams
– Ensuring that tasks are prioritised and organised efficiently
– Administration, stock and consumables support
– Setting up equipment for new starters, meetings and presentations
– Supporting management with any other duties that may arise
Exposure to a VOIP telephony platform, network management software, MDMS, JAMF and NAS is not essential, though advantageous. Experience with SME cloud storage solutions, such as Dropbox and ShareFile, will also be beneficial. Additionally, the role will provide some facilities support, coordinating and assisting with general maintenance for the office.
A personal interest in design and the creative industries is welcomed.
The position is office-based, working three days per week (either Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday; or Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) at our studio in Bloomsbury, London.
